IMB Bank Savings Account Rates

IMB Bank is an Australian credit union offering savings accounts across several life stages. Its highest rate is available through the Zoo Account, designed for children aged 0 to 12, and requires a minimum $10 deposit and no withdrawals in the calendar month to earn a bonus rate on top of the base rate. The DIY Super Account pays a competitive rate with no bonus conditions. The Christmas Club Account is a forced-savings product: interest is paid only if you make no withdrawals between 1 January and 31 October, and any withdrawal in that window closes the account and forfeits the interest entirely — savings are then released for spending in November and December.

Deposits with IMB Bank are protected under the Financial Claims Scheme up to $250,000 per account holder per ADI.
